I would like to share with you a discussion that I had with Rabbi
Gibber .
We were discussing proofs that G-d exists and is constantly
running the world. Rabbi Gibber told me that the greatest proofs are
the uncanny events which one could attribute to ‘coincidence’. So
often, events happen about which we hear ourselves saying, “What a
coincidence!”. So many of these events happen each day, that if one
will just keep his eyes and ears open, he will notice more and more of
these such “coincidences” occuring. He will then realize that G-d is
running the world and arranging these “coincidences” for our benefit
alone.

As an example, I heard a story recently about someone who was going to
buy a new car. The man was deciding between two cars and concluded
that he did not need the fancier car of the two. The difference in
price between the two cars was three thousand dollars.

The very next day, this man got a call from a local institution asking
him to contribute since they were a little short that month. And
guess how much they were asking him to contribute? Three thousand
dollars!
