					<description>Rabbi Karp,

I wanted to tell you how much I appreciated all of the kind words that you've said about Rabbi Schneider. You may not remember me, but I was friends with you in Monticello, at the Hebrew Day School where we were lucky enough to have Rabbi Schneider as our teacher. I didn't appreciate him at the time, but as I grew up and raised my own children I sure did appreciate the wonderful knowledge that he gave me of my Jewish heritage. I finally can respect the ferocity in which he defended the laws, customs and traditions of our people.

With fond memories,

<description>My condolences on the passing of your father in law. I only met him a handful of times but me made a very big impression on me.
My wife and I often complain that frum Baltimore is unfriendly as a result of being too big, but he was of the time when Baltimore was a heimishe hamlet and it was reflected in his warmth.
He took the time to introduce himself to me and my sons at your son's l'chaim a while back, and I recall that both he and me younger son, Avraham got a kick out of sharing a name.
As my son Avraham would now say, they have the same "doctor's office name" Abraham.
All the best.

<description>Interesting. It's all in the spin.
It's like saying, I'll have a TV in my house but I won't watch the "bad" stuff. Or I'll have the internet but I won't look at stuff I'm not supposed to.
